Each year in early summer, mule deer fawns appear at Casa Don Pedro. They are born here, or so we believe, in a secluded area of the green-way that runs behind the homes in the Upper Avenues District of Salt Lake City. Although the 2013 fawns appeared for the first time over a month ago, this was the first chance I had to make their photograph. Cute, and seemingly very healthy.
Images in this entry were recorded using the Nikon D7100 and the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR at 300mm. Exposures were f/8 and 1/500s, ISO 800.
